The Pedigree bear is almost identical to the Wendy Boston design
With the only difference being the Pedigree label sewn in the back of the neck
as identification to verify its origin

on the back of his neck
This bear is more then 50 years old
It is common practice to define "antique",
as applying to objects at least 50 years old.
Bear is in good condition with wear from age

History of Pedigree
In the 1960s Pedigree factories in Northern Ireland
& New Zealand were making teddy bears out of washable synthetic
materials such a nylon plush
In 1966 they moved all of the production to Canterbury England.
Pedigree closed business in 1988
